The open design competition was organized by the Helsinki City Hall to find a new modern light pole to the historical centre square of Helsinki. The new pole was to carry the street lights and have an installation space for facade luminaries and it should support the existent trams electricity cables. The design proposal was a simple pole divided into two, which stays as transparent as possible in front of the historical facades, but from the sides hides the multiple luminaries requested. The proposal won the third price in the competition.
