The objective was to create a lengthy wooden dining table that combined strength and stability with a sense of lightness. To achieve this, 10mm thick steel legs were precision-cut with a laser and positioned diagonally at the table's corners, enhancing its stability. The tabletop consists of 30mm thick plywood, veneered with oak on the surface. Along the edges, the plywood layers are intentionally exposed and beveled to reduce their visual weight. The prototype's dimensions measure 2.7 x 0.95 meters.
